New Long-Term Care Home Begins Operation
A new long-term care home has begun operation in the South West LHIN. The facility is located on the Oneida Nation of the Thames and named TSI’Nu:Yoyantle’Na’Tuhuwatisni or "place where you get good care" in the Oneida language. The 64 bed facility began accepting residents on February 1st. An opening ceremony is planned for the spring.

South West LHIN Quality Symposium - Registration now Open

Central Community Health Centre improving access to primary care
One year after opening its doors, the Central Community Health Centre is providing primary care support to hundreds of people in the St. Thomas - Southwold area. This unique centre provides a wide array of services, addressing the needs of the whole client. A mobile unit was introduced in January 2012 to visit clients in outlying areas.
Pay For Results in the South West LHIN
The Pay for Results program is helping reduce ER wait times in Ontario hospitals. In the South West LHIN, Grey Bruce Health Services, St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital and both London Health Sciences Centre sites are participating.
