Aging at Home Update: Year 3 Process

The South West LHIN has just confirmed a new targeted process for Year 3 of the Aging at Home Strategy.  Aging at Home is a three-year $700 million strategy launched by the province of Ontario in 2007 and is designed to fund programs that help seniors stay healthy and live with independence by avoiding unnecessary long-term care placement and hospitalizations.

Aboriginal Health and the South West LHIN

HealthForceOntario: A Year in Review

As part of a provincial government strategy to increase the number and mix of health professionals in the province, HealthForceOntario Marketing and Recruitment Agency (HFO MRA) is playing a leading role in helping to ensure that goal is met.  HFO MRA now has a presence at the community level with the introduction of the Community Partnership Program, an initiative designed to integrate and coordinate physician recruitment in the province.
