Ron Bolton, Secretary (St. Marys) Ron Bolton has extensive experience in health care governance having held positions as a member, vice chair. and chair of the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance Board of Directors, and previously as member of the St. Marys Memorial Hospital Board of Directors. At present, Ron is a board member of the Canadian Agriculture Hall of Fame. Prior to his retirement in 2008, Bolton had a successful 25- year career with CIBC, moving to increasingly senior positions throughout his tenure.

Sheryl Feagan, Member (Goderich) Named to the Board on July 8, 2010, Sheryl Feagan is a practicing lawyer called to the Ontario bar in 2002. Prior to her career in the legal field, she had a 20 year career in public health, including positions as Health Promoter and Director of the Huron County Health unit. Her background also includes teaching at the secondary level.In addition to her professional qualifications, she has demonstrated a commitment to community service through her governance roles with several health care organizations and charities. Through her experiences, she has gained a thorough understanding of the health care continuum and the role integration must play if we are to achieve a fully integrated system of care.

Ronald Lipsett, Member (Grey County) Ron is a resident of Grey County where he is actively involved in the day-to-day management of the Lipsett family farm. He brings a background rich in community involvement with a focus on health care. He also enjoyed a long career with an insurance company and served as Member of Provincial Parliament from 1987-1990 for the riding of Grey. He has demonstrated his passion for community involvement by serving on several health care related boards and committees. Most recently he was part of the South West LHIN’s Health System Design Board to Board Reference Group. He also was member of the Grey Bruce Health Service Board for nine years, including a term as Chair. Lipsett has held governance positions on the Grey Bruce Community Foundation, as well as the Grey-Bruce VON.

Jeffrey Low, Chair (London)
Jeff Low has more than 16 years’ of governance experience in health care and education, having served on the boards of London Health Sciences Centre, including a two-year term as Chair, the London Health Sciences Foundation, Lawson Research Institute, the University of Western Ontario Development Committee and Huron University College. Professionally, Mr. Low has more than 35 years of human resources’ experience, including positions as Vice President of Human Resources at Jones Packaging Inc. and as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at CitiFinancial Services Inc. Currently, he is working with the Human Resources department at Fanshawe College.

Gerry Moss, Member (Port Elgin)
Gerry has spent his professional career in education, and prior to his retirement in 2006 was a principal with the Bluewater District School Board. He has remained active in education as a learning strategist with Georgian College, an online instructor with Queens University, and participation in the Education Quality and Accountability Office. He also brings a long history of community service through the Port Elgin Rotary Club, where he held various positions including President. He has held governance roles with the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association, and the Social Housing Services Corporation.

Linda Stevenson, Vice Chair (St. Thomas) Named to the Board in May 2007, Linda Stevenson is a resident of St. Thomas and a former trustee of the Thames Valley District School Board. Her professional background in infant development and special education is complemented by extensive community involvement with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Learning Disability Association of Elgin, and the Talbot Teen Centre.

Barbara West-Bartley, Member (Wiarton) has extensive experience in community and social services, including in her current position as Manager of Administration with the Bruce Peninsula Association for Community Living. Previously she was the Business Manager with the Women’s Centre Grey-Bruce Inc. where she managed Second Stage Housing and support programs. West-Bartley also has governance experience in the non-profit housing sector with the Owen Sound Municipal Non-Profit Housing and Owen Sound Housing Board of Directors, and at the provincial level with the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association. |

Robert Wood (London) adds financial background to the South West LHIN Board. A Certified Management Accountant, he is currently an independent management consultant guiding organizations through the strategic and financial rigours of resolving complex business problems as well as implementing practical performance improvements. He also has governance experience locally with St. Joseph’s Health Care London where he was Vice-Chair in 2009-10, and previous to this chaired various St. Joseph’s Health Care committees including the Governance Committee, the Care Committee, the Audit Committee, the Resource Planning Committee, and the Human Resources Committee. |
